Photographers, poets and illustrators are among the many who have steered their work toward book arts. A couple dozen of them showed off their work over the weekend at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts’ seventh annual Book Arts Fest. 3-Minute Egg introduces you to four of them.

About Matt Peiken

A founder of Opine Season, Matt Peiken spent 10 years as an arts/features staff writer at the St. Paul Pioneer Press and a year editing the Walker Art Center's magazine before launching his own path. Peiken created the video arts program 3-Minute Egg and the online classical music magazine MNuet. In fall 2012, he produced his first long-form video documentary, "God Votes No."

    I enjoyed hearing and seeing the artists- this kind of creativity is amazing to me. I have some of Georgia Greeley’s artwork and it is exquisite in every detail. She has very strong technical skills coupled with an intense love and passion for this rare type of art.
