A group of students in a poetry class at the Loft decided to remain a group after the class ended. Twenty years later, the Bedford Poets — the group regularly met at a member’s house on Bedford Street, in the Prospect Park neighborhood of Minneapolis — are still an active poetry collective. Recently, at Magers & Quinn, many in the collecive read from the Bedford Poets’ first published anthology.
