Six MFA candidates in the University of Minnesota’s Art Department are exhibiting the fruits of the academic/artistic work through Thesis, on view at the Nash Gallery through April 23. 3-Minute Egg went to the opening reception and, here, focuses on three of the participants — Rebekah Champ, Lauren Herzak-Bauman and Toby Sisson. A fourth, Sonja Peterson, was profiled earlier this year in an Egg from the Expanded Drawing exhibition at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
