Kling’s new play, produced through Interact Theater in collaboration with the Twin Cities Gospel Choir and Australia’s Tutti Ensemble, takes inspiration from his own tragedy to spin the tale of a man who looks at the aftermath of his own death. 3-Minute Egg spoke with Kling at a dress rehearsal for Northern Lights/Southern Cross, which previews October 22-23 at the Guthrie’s Dowling Studio, opens October 24 and continues through November 8.
