An independent theater partnership has put movement and music to the Kate Chopin novel The Awakening — the tale of a woman in 1890s New Orleans who “awakens” to her own desires and impulses. 3-Minute Egg meets with the people behind this adaptation at a rehearsal for the production, which runs April 2-17 at St. Paul’s Gremlin Theatre.
