Judith Howard: A Hairy Balance

Judith Howard has made movement in the Twin Cities for more than 20 years–most notably a series of house dances with fellow provocateur April Sellers. But since Howard began heading up the dance program at Carleton College, three years ago, she has struggled to hold on to her own artistic voice. She reclaimed it last week by sharing a program at the Bedlam Theatre with the madcap Mad King Thomas. In this 3-Minute Egg from one of those performances, Howard talks about her artistic motivations and the impact of collegiate life.
