3-Minute Egg focuses on Minnesota/Twin Cities performance, visual and literary artists creating/producing new, original work. That means we look for theater companies staging work by MINNESOTA-based playwrights, dance companies producing work from local choreographers, music by local composers, readings that feature local poets and authors.
If it’s not from someone local, the Egg probably won’t cover it, though we do make exceptions for extraordinary, unique artistic productions/events with strong public interest. Still, the local-artists angle is always the key factor. We look for projects that can welcome us into artists’ creative processes. We want to know what you’re up to — shows, performances, festivals, readings and exhibitions on the horizon.

Just received my weekly digest email for June 14, 2010. Good? No. One of the videos featured a performance that ran June 10-12: Zupanc meets Zeitgeist meets Kling . Missed it. Bummer.
