In addition to his work with 3-Minute Egg, Matt Peiken is available to bring a documentary approach to your artwork, business, program or event.
Among other clients, Matt has produced recent video for HGA Architects and Engineers, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Cowles Center for Dance, the Loft Literary Center, VocalEssence and even an order of nuns.
Matt’s approach
With Matt, you get more than a videographer — you get a storyteller, conceptual thinker and media strategist. He’s a former staff writer with the St. Paul Pioneer Press and managing editor of the Walker Art Center’s magazine who, now, produces 3-Minute Egg. He’ll help unearth and tell your story and storytelling and incorporate video into your overall media strategy. He’ll listen to you, assess your needs, brainstorm with you, critique your ideas and propose things you would never conceive on your own. He’ll nudge you to think big, spend little and craft a battle plan.
HGA hired Matt to produce videos highlighting and documenting recent projects. This video showcases the green aesthetic of Cambridge Commons, a newly opened dormitory at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee:

The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra recently commissioned Matt to produced nine videos showcasing the interests and personalities its musicians away from orchestra. The orchestra is rolling these videos out one by one throughout this summer. Here’s one of them:
