Susana di Palma has always injected stories and gypsy blood into her flamenco dances. Romeria, the new show from di Palma and her Zorongo Flamenco Dance Theatre, is an ambitious work that weaves the dancers and audience on foot through the pathways of Minnehaha Falls Park, in Minneapolis. In today’s Egg, di Palma talks about her inspirations and shows that, after nearly 40 years in local dance, she’s still got it. Performances continue through Sunday, September 21.
