Tina Blondell is a native of Austria who grew up in France and Italy, spent two decades in Washington, D.C., and lived for a while in New Mexico before moving, 10 years ago, to the Twin Cities. By then, she had already started her career as a painter exploring the identity of women. 3-Minute Egg met up with Blondell at the opening reception for an exhibition of her older watercolors and newer oil paintings — Truth, Introspection and Myth — at the Nina Bliese Gallery, in downtown Minneapolis.
