About 100 people, some seriously talented performers and a few A-class businesses helped celebrate the launch of 3-Minute Egg, at a party Friday night at Rosalux Gallery. I’d like to thank Cheryl Wilgren Clyne, Daniel Young and the Rosalux Gallery for lending their beautiful space, Flat Earth Brewing of St. Paul for its tasty contribution and the Longfellow Grill for some amazing platters of food. You’ll be seeing their names at the front of 3-Minute Egg videos over the next week as our first generous sponsors.
The Egg also thanks dancers Denise Armstead and Gerry Girouard, spoken word artist Kohl Miner, comic hip-hoppers Koo Koo Kangaroo, poets and hip-hoppers El Guante and See More Perspective, and singer-songwriter The European Son (aka Robert Russel) for their serving up song and verse and, literally, bringing everyone to their feet.
And the Egg sincerely thanks everyone who bought T-shirts, took home magnets, donated money and otherwise pledged to spread the Egg to others in their worlds. If you didn’t make it to the party, don’t fret — there will be another Egg dish in Spring 2009. In the meantime, you can still donate to the Egg anytime (a secure PayPal button is in the column at the right) and subscribe to receive 3-Minute Egg videos by email, through iTunes or any number of ways — all for free.
The Egg will see you online and on the scene. Thanks again — and keep tuning in and spreading the Egg!

I have to tell you that your pieces give me such hope for the world. Seeing all these special, talented, thinking people out there creating and exploring their own talents and abilities is an incredible high for me. I’d feel that way even if you weren’t producing this wonderful venue, but knowing that you are producing it makes it that much more special for me because you are one of the special, talented, thinking people that give me hope for the world.
