Mary Easter is a dancer, poet and writer who occasionally pens, produces and performs in her own shows — some autobiographical, some composites of people she meets. Her newest, Skin: Solo in a Crowd, traces her upbringing in the segregated South of Virginia. 3-Minute Egg dropped into a rehearsal as Easter prepared for performances March 6-7 at the Ritz Theater.

Mary…you are a goddess. I cannot wait for Friday night’s show. Loved this piece…a keeper for the archives, and when you’re, oh, say 125 years old: there it is!
