Jaime Carrera left a promising career in Chicago as a fine art photographer to follow a man and carve a new life for himself in Minneapolis. The relationship is behind him, but Carrera has moved his art into theater, movement, music, design and film. That expanse comes into play in Carrera’s new work, Tableaux — on stage the next three Fridays at Bryant-Lake Bowl. 3-Minute Egg met Carrera at a recent rehearsal.
