Every year, Doug Beasley leads a handful of other photographers from the Twin Cities and far beyond into South Dakota’s Badlands for a week of photography workshops grounded in spirituality and connectedness to the land. The results of his latest pilgrimage are on exhibition through this weekend at Umber Studios, a small gallery in South Minneapolis. 3-Minute Egg met with Beasley and a couple of other local Badlands trekkers at the exhibition’s opening reception.
Got something to say? Go for it!
Thanks Matt!
We will be returning to the Badlands this May 28 to June 1 for our annual Vision Quest “Dramatic Portrait: People and Nudes” photo workshop. More info can be found on the Vision Quest website: VQphoto.com
