Mark Mallman is a renaissance musician for the 21st Century — he composes soundtracks, music for commercials and video games, sets records for consecutive hours playing the piano (twice!) and keeps 1970s piano rock alive as a solo artist. Now add something else to his resume: Comic novelist. Invincible Criminal is a new comic novel, audio book and album-length CD (Mallman’s seventh). 3-Minute Egg went to Mallman’s CD-release show at First Avenue and met with him in his home to talk art, entertainment and the difference between them.
