Miriam Gerberg has composed most of her music for the theater, but for her new stage show, Gerberg composed the music to tell a story of Desert Dreams: Naomi & Ruth, an adaptation of a Biblical tale premiering this weekend at Sabes Jewish Community Center. 3-Minute Egg spoke with Gerberg about marrying Middle Eastern, Indian and Norwegian music and the musicians who perform it with theatrical stage performance.
