Amid the myriad workshops, panels and extracurricular performances happening around the National Poetry Slam, perhaps the most popular is the annual Haiku Deathmatch. 3-Minute Egg caught poets from around the country laying it down Wednesday at the Lowry Lab Theater. The Egg continues coverage of the slam through Saturdays team finals competition at Roy Wilkins Auditorium. WARNING: Some of these haikus lean to the lewd and sophomoric.
