We meet with composer Mary Ellen Childs in the second of our two Eggs inspired by the 2010 International Marimba Festival. In this 3-Minute Egg, we drop into a rehearsal of So Percussion, which premiered a Childs composition this past weekend at the Southern Theater. We also hear a piece of Propellor, an opera Childs is working on with local writer Marisha Chamberlain, through Nautilus Music Theater’s Rough Cuts series
